There has been some confusion lately regarding Limb From Limb's goals for Warhammer. For the most part, I believe that our members have a good understanding of what this guild hopes to accomplish when the game is released. However, for those who don't, our leadership has deemed this post necessarily to eliminate any misunderstandings.

Limb From Limb was formed with the intent of being a top-tier Warhammer guild in all aspects of the game. Essentially, that means we not only have plans to be a very formidable PVP force, but additionally engage in cutting edge PVE content. Over the last several months, our recruitment has been structured around accepting the most dedicated, personable , and qualified applicants possible to achieve these goals. So far, we have succeed in collecting, what seems to be, an extremely competent group of players.

Commitment

We expect our members to be committed to the game. Now, in regards to an MMO, a players commitment is generally perceived as how often they play. Limb from Limb doesn't believe in requiring our members to be online an exorbitant amount of hours. That's unreasonable and unfair to anyone who has real-life responsibilities.

Prowess
Let's not be dishonest by saying that we're going to succeed with ambition and a good ideology alone. Skill is everything. For the most part, everyone here has demonstrated to be an intelligent player, and has the willingness to go for the gold. Undoubtedly, there will be people in our ranks who are unable to perform at our level. Their stay will be short lived.

Council has already stated their intentions to "clean-up" the guild shortly after release. We're going to be evaluating our members very stringently. If you check the website regularly, participate in guild events, and play well....you shouldn't have anything to worry about. smile

Over the next couple of weeks we're going to be posting additional information concerning the LFL leadership structure and guild procedures. September 18th is just around the corner, and we need to be prepared.

Signed,
Kuassi and the rest of the LFL Council

Thanks Gami. Not as well written as I would have liked...but, we needed to get it out there in the open.

For the most part, this post is very vague and unenlightening. We'll be posting/discussing more specifics on these matters soon, I hope.

Interested to know everyone's impressions though.

Nice, Sordid.

Well written is right. Also, don't forget that if a member is in our family/friends rank, they will not be as heavily scrutinized, for they are in that rank for a reason. What I mean by that is this: If a family/friend is accepted and shows great skill and dedication, they will be accepted as a normal member (Despite what their application lacked). If they join as a family/friend and prove to show a low level of skill or commitment, they stay family/friend. Though if they negatively represent LfL publicly, they will be kicked from the guild and killed IRL.

Ramirez, in LFL we don't use the term "killed", "sacrificed" is the correct term.

Lol what just WoW? lets take a look at the destruction in beta, I seriously hope that 60% of order in beta was just rolling order just for beta.

Morpheus has a point though. WoW is probably the most notorious for having unskilled, immature players. It's probably the easiest MMOs I've ever played. Subsequently, that's why so many noobs are attracted to it.

I totally agree with you, Aven. I encountered a lot of horrible Destruction players over the preview weekend. Granted, many of them were playing WAR for the first time...but still. It was my first time playing a sorceress and I didn't find it difficult to pick up.
